When it comes to Jesus, you can never be NEUTRAL, you either LOVE Him or HATE Him. There is NO ...MIDDLE GROUND. Having said that, when it comes to loving Jesus, our love for Him might either be WEAK or STRONG.

"How Doctrines Look" (Matthew 27: 45 - 56) April 13, 2025 Sunday Service
"How Doctrines Look" (Matthew 27: 45 - 56) April 13, 2025 Sunday Service
When Christians are given technical definitions of certain Christian doctrines, they often tune out, because they cannot figure ...out what is being stated. But is it possible to paint a picture or create an image of doctrine such that it is clearly understood. The passage paints vivid pictures of doctrine to make it not only comprehensible but even palpable.
There are 2 doctrines that are graphically portrayed in this narrative:
1. Doctrine of substitution - The substitutionary atonement refers to Jesus Christ dying as a substitute for sinners. The Scriptures teach that all men are sinners (Romans 3:9-18, 23). The penalty for our sinfulness is death. Romans 6:23 reads, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This the definition given by GotQuestions. Org.
Because Christ has become our substitute, we have been freed from the penalty of sin which is eternal punishment and separation
with God. Likewise, because Christ died in our place, we now have FREE ACCESS and the hope of RESURRECTION.
2. Doctrine of imputation of sin and righteousness- The doctrine of imputation teaches that while Adam's sin is imputed to us because he is our natural federal head, God imputes or accredits the righteousness and suffering of Jesus to those who are in him and, conversely, imputes the sins of those redeemed to Christ.
Quite understandably, such definitions can be intimidating to the lay person. However, this narrative that we are about to study makes us picture and even feel these doctrines.

"Our Humble Savior" (Matthew 27:27-44) Pastor Mel Caparros April 6, 2025 Sunday Service
This passage gives us in clear detail the sufferings that Jesus had to go through before dying for ...us on the cross. This was the path that Jesus had to go through to be able to save mankind. We are given these gory details by Matthew, so that we can best appreciate WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE FOR US in order to bring about our SALVATION. Indeed, this is one of the most POWERFUL DISPLAYS OF JESUS’ INFINITE LOVE FOR US.
But there is one other thing which which should not be missed in this passage and that is the HUMILITY of Jesus

"Is He Worthy?" (Matthew 27:11-26) Pastor Mel Caparros March 30, 2025 Sunday Service
Is Jesus worth trusting? Is Jesus worth believing? Is Jesus worth surrendering our lives to? Is Jesus worth ...making a lifetime commitment of devotion and dedication? Is Jesus worth sacrificing for? Is Jesus worth suffering for?
The positive answer to this question depends on whether Jesus is the real Messiah and Savior of the world and whether Jesus fulfills His promises and prophecies. Matthew proves in this section that Jesus is worthy of all the questions we asked at the beginning.

"The Joy And Blessedness Of Having Your Sins Forgiven" (Psalm 32:1-2) Pastor Robbie Casas March 23, 2025 Sunday Service
How many of us here right now have sin in our lives ...which we have kept not only from people but even from God (as if we really could, right?) by avoiding to acknowledge the sin and evading coming before God to confess and repent from it?
If you are a believer, this is one of the worst things you can do.
~ First of all, God in His omniscience is not ignorant of that sin.
~ Secondly, God in His holiness will not turn a blind eye to that sin and just let it go.
~ Thirdly, the Holy Spirit, whose ministry is to convict us of sin (cf. Jn 14:8), will not let go of us until we repent.
~ Fourthly, unconfessed sin will keep you in terrible bondage.
It is our hope that through our study of Ps 32:1-2, we would all see in a fresh way the joy and the blessedness of having our sin forgiven.

"The Malice Of Men, The Master Plan Of God" (Matthew 27:1-10) Pastor Mel Caparros March 16, 2025 Sunday Service
Jesus was the victim of INJUSTICE from MALICIOUS MEN. In this however, ...we see the SOVEREIGNTY of God in that He was in FULL CONTROL of the orchestration of events so that His purpose of MAN’S SALVATION could be fulfilled. This is seen in the FULFILLMENT of Jeremiah’s prophecy, indicating that God was not caught off guard nor the victim of men’s schemes. He is God and He is the GOD of all scenarios including the ones that led to this INJUSTICE and Christ’s ultimate SACRIFICE.
Likewise, Matthew’s objective which was to prove through INCONTROVERTIBLE EVIDENCES that Jesus is the Messiah were fulfilled. Jesus’ innocence and the prophetic fulfillment establishes the fact that Jesus indeed is the PROMISED MESSIAH.

"Learning The Hard Way" (Matthew 26:69-75) Pastor Mel Caparros March 9, 2025 Sunday Service
The great inventor Charles F. Kettering suggested that we must learn to fail intelligently. He said, "Once ...you've failed, analyze the problem and find out why, because each failure is one more step leading up to the cathedral of success. The only time you don't want to fail is the last time you try." Peter learned from his failure and became a better person.
We do not have to FAIL TO BE ABLE TO LEARN LESSONS IN LIFE. We can actually learn from the mistakes of others. In this case, we can learn lessons from the failure of Peter.

"The Crooked False Shepherds & The Innocent Lamb" (Matthew 26:57-68) Pastor Mel Caparros March 2, 2025 Sunday Service
We do not expect injustice from the halls of religion most especially with ...the religious courts of the Jews. No race on the face of the earth is as proud of its sense of justice as the Jew. BUT HERE IS A CASE WHEN INJUSTICE WAS SO PERVERTED, and perpetrated by none other than by the highest religious powers of that time.
This injustice was so brazen that even the crooked secular courtswould not have proceeded with such audacity and obvious twisting of the laws of the land.
In stark contrast, Jesus shows His absolute purity and righteousness, thereby proving that He is the PERFECT SACRIFICE prepared by the Heavenly Father.

Crisis is going to meet us head-on whatever our station in life and wherever we are. There ...are various forms of CRISIS SITUATIONS and one of the most difficult to handle is the crisis of BETRAYAL, which is the case here.
There are only two ways to respond to a crisis: THE SPIRITUAL WAY AND THE CARNAL WAY. Jesus demonstrates in this passage how to respond in a spiritual way to crisis. The carnal way is displayed by the disciples of Jesus.

Temptations and trials are very real and they are elements that we meet in many seasons in ...our lives and it is something that will continue for the rest of our earthly journey. Sin should not be a part of Christian life, but it always enters into our lives, through the backdoor of temptation and trials. This passage provides for us, the ways to overcome temptation and trials.
In this passage, Jesus was confronted with much temptation and distress, but overcame and we will see that the reason for His victory. Incidentally, Jesus used these personal crisis situation to teach His disciples how to respond to these elements.

"When God Says Enough" (Psalm 51) Pastor Roy Versoza February 09, 2025 Sunday Service
We are living in turbulent times. Society is breaking down. Marriages are breaking up. Immorality is breaking ...out. Criminals are breaking in. The economy is breaking bad and the world is just breaking apart. And because of this, people are asking is the Lord Jesus Christ coming back soon? But you know what? It's not just what's happening around us that we need to look at. Our Bibles tell us that we are also to look at what's happening inside the church.
We will touch on this sensitive topic to help us understand what happens when we remain in sin, what happens when we keep on giving in to temptation? What happens when we allow sin to remain unconfessed? What happens when God says enough?
And to answer that question will study a chapter from the Book of Psalms written by David, who had to learn a lesson the hard way. He learned the destructive power of sin.
