When man was created by God, all his needs were taken care of as God placed him in the beautiful Garden of Eden. God was setting up his kingdom on earth. He gave man the power to name all creatures, subdue them and fill up the earth. Godย blessed him abundantly. And man didnโt have to worry for anything for God is the source of all his needs. Sadly, because of disobedience man lost his power and dominion. He lost his blessing. Thus man was cut off from God, his creator, his Lord and his source.
But praise be to God! God found a way to reconcile man back to Him. He began working to redeem mankind in bringing him back into a right relationship with Him and resume being His source. God the Father sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ into the world to pay the penalty for our sins and to become a sacrifice on our behalf. He did so, so that we could be reconciled back to him, connecting what was once disconnected, and bringing back the flow of love, grace and blessings once again to mankind.

He explains it in John 15:5-8 โI am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.โ
Since Jesus is now your ultimate source, you need not to worry. As Matthew 6:31-33 says, โTherefore do not be anxious, saying, โWhat shall we eat?โ or โWhat shall we drink?โ or โWhat shall we wear?โ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.โ
So brethren, whatever lack you are experiencing now; whatever problems you are worrying; whatever needs you have that youโre longing to be fulfilled; always remember that the Lord Jesus is our ultimate source. And those of us who have accepted him as his Lord and Savior have him living in side of us. He goes with us wherever we go and He never leaves us nor forsakes us.

1. When in need and in lack, where or who do you run to?
2. Have we trusted God enough to be our ultimate source of blessing?
๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ:
โFill the garden of my soul with the wind of love,
that the scents of the Christian life may be wafted to others;
then come and gather fruits to thy glory.
So shall I fulfil the great end of my being โ
to glorify thee and be a blessing to men.โ Amen!
