Wisdom of the Ages ( Psalm 49 )

INTRODUCTION

There are certain teachings that we need to pay extra special attention because of their great importance or relevance to our lives.

This happens to be one of those teachings and the main is reason is that this deals with the matter we all DON’T WANT to TALK ABOUT and that is DEATH. But the Psalmist deals with the subject matter HEAD ON and gives us very beautiful spiritual nuggets.

CONCLUSION

As we have learned from this Psalm, DEATH has TWO FACES.

One face is UGLY and HORRIFIC and this is the face of death that people who don’t have a personal relationship with Christ.

On the other hand, those who have made Jesus the Lord and Savior of their lives see the BEAUTIFUL and GLORIOUS FACE of DEATH.

The choice is ours to make which face we would like to meet at the end of our lives.
