INTRODUCTION
As Jesus displayed His POWER, He naturally attracted a lot of people to Himself. However, there was a very big possibility that Jesus would attract some “BAD EGGS” who do not know the COST of COMMITMENT. They are just there for the JOY RIDE but would leave when the GOING gets TOUGH.
Jesus was not after POPULARITY, but after COMMITMENT. We will see two disciples who apparently were not yet aware of the COST of FOLLOWING Christ.
We find the RASH and the TENTATIVE DISCIPLE. Jesus puts them in their PROPER PLACE for them to understand what FOLLOWING CHRIST means. Here’s an outline:

Are you a RASH disciple or a TENTATIVE one?
Know this, Jesus demands nothing less than TOTAL COMMITMENT.
