The God Who Restores

INTRODUCTION

In this Psalm, David was brought into a sense of his MORTALITY as a result of a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE brought about by a LIFE THREATENING ILLNESS. This experience caused him to have CERTAIN REALIZATIONS and he came out a BETTER PERSON and WORSHIPPER.

In this pandemic crisis, while we may not be sick, we may be having a great sense of our mortality and the fragility of life. Hopefully, as in the case of David, we too would have our own REALIZATIONS. There are FOUR MAJOR POINTS to David’s Psalm and they are as follows:

With our MORTALITY STARING us in the face of this deadly virus, what are your realizations?
Was there a realization of your PRIDE and SELF CONFIDENCE?
Is God disciplining you to bring you to repentance?
Is God calling you to Himself that you might become a child of God?
