Our Dangerous Calling

INTRODUCTION

Christianity in the 21st century, in a DEMOCRATIC environment, hardly feels the imminent danger it carries. This is because democracy touts FREEDOM of RELIGION and FREEDOM of SPEECH. 1st century Christianity however meant living in a CLEAR & PRESENT
DANGER. It is this THREAT that Jesus warns and calls His disciples to RESPOND to.

CONCLUSION

Jesus has COMMISSIONED us to preach the gospel, but He is not offering a rosy, storm-free life and ministry. There are DEMANDS and DANGERS in the fulfillment of our duties.
