INTRODUCTION:

REVIEW OF THE OCCASION: A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. To cover up for his sin, David had Bathsheba’s husband Uriah murdered by withdrawing troops from him so that their enemies could kill him.

This Psalm is considered as the GREATEST PENITENTIAL Psalm.

1) David’s guilt – v. 3
2) David’s confession and agreement with God – v. 4
3) Root of David’s sins and God’s desired FRUIT vv. 5 – 6

I already exposited on the first two major points and so today, we will wrap up the final two points.
