Freedom From Worry

INTRODUCTION

There may be many people who are not guilty of laying up treasures on earth but maybe GUILTY of ANXIETY about them. BOTH are SINS. It does not matter to Satan what FORM of SIN takes as long as he succeeds in his ultimate OBJECTIVE which is for us to FOCUS on THINGS or MONEY rather than God.

It might interest us to know that in 16 of 38 parables, Jesus deals with MONEY and MATERIALISM. There are 500 verses on PRAYER and about the same with the subject matter of FAITH. However, when we look at money there are 2,000 verses which means that this seems to be the CRUX of our spiritual problem.

Never has the TYRANNY of ANXIETY been too apparent as now. There so much FEAR TODAY for TOMORROW’S SUSTENANCE in these uncertain times. In this passage, we will tackle the PERPETUAL PROBLEM of MATERIALISM tied up with ANXIETY.

My goal in this sermon is to free us from WORRY. Allow me to share the three
points of our study today:

Maybe you have made a HABIT out of WORRY to such a point that you are WORRIED when you don’t have anything to WORRY ABOUT. I hope this sermon has cured you so that you will have FREEDOM from WORRY!
