INTRODUCTION

A few decades ago, what we Filipino’s termed as “People Power” changed the tide of Philippine history. Democracy was re-installed from an authoritarian rule under Martial law. Nevertheless, Philippine society hasn’t changed much; in fact, according to most sectors it has grown worse. It failed because REAL POWER to CHANGE comes from God as He uses HUMAN INSTRUMENTS infused with His power.

Such is who we are if fulfil our CALLING to be a MIGHTY SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE in society. This is GENUINE PEOPLE POWER. Jesus draws an ILLUSTRATION from the ancient world which typifies our IDENTITY and ESSENCE. The question however is: “Have we fulfilled our POTENTIAL?

If we want to EXPERIENCE TRUE PEOPLE’S POWER that influences people’s lives, we must FUNCTION as SALT should, living a CONSISTENT GODLY LIFESTYLE! That will surely IMPACT our SOCIETY! Christian, you are the HOPE of this NATION!
